We are delighted, as Acting Chair of Wolverhampton and Walsall Anti-Slavery Partnership, to be working with Local Authorities, Police and other colleagues to lead on this new #ThinkModernSlavery campaign.

We want to ensure people don’t forget about Modern Slavery during the current Covid-19 restrictions.

Serious and Organised crime lies behind Modern Slavery

Modern Slavery is continuing despite the lockdown. Serious and organised crime is behind this. They exploit people who are vulnerable and we need everyone to be on the lookout!

Modern Slavery in in agriculture and food production

Forced or compulsory labour is sometimes hidden but often people are exploited in plain sight. This can include in agriculture and food production #ThinkModernSlavery. Report to West Midlands Police or Crimestoppers.

Also it’s important to know your rights - click here for some helpful information from the Gangmasters Labour Abuse Authority.
