The Places of Welcome network is really taking off in Uttoxeter, with two venues relaunching for the new year.

The first of these was St. Mary's Church in Uttoxeter town centre, which restarted as a Place of Welcome in January, after a short break. It will continue to open every week going forward, offering a free cuppa and a chat on Thursday mornings between 9.30am and 12 noon.

The second to relaunch was Uttoxeter Cares, which opened its doors again as a Place of Welcome on Monday 3rd February. There was a lovely atmosphere, completmented by hot drinks, tasty biscuits and friendly conversation (see photo). You will find a silmilar warm welcome there every Monday between 1.30pm and 3pm.

In addition to these two venues, Places of Welcome are held on Tuesday afternoons between 2pm and 4pm at Uttoxeter Library and again, just up the road from there, at Renew Church, for the Tuesday evening craft group. If you are free on Friday mornings, you can find a Place of Welcome at Uttoxeter Heath Community Centre.
