"Hello everyone ! My name is Rachel, and I am delighted to be Joining the wonderful, dynamic TCT Team as part of the Diocese of Lichfield. Being from Stafford myself it is great to be back working in such a fabulous part of the world. As a Mental Health Development Worker I'm excited to be part of helping church communities to become more confident and equipped to help people achieve and maintain good mental health and wellbeing. I hope to do this through a combination of resources, content and information, in different formats, for people to access in ways that they feel most comfortable with

Coming up in May we will be working with folk to complete their Mental Health First Aid Training course. We are also working with the wonderful education charity TLG, to deliver the Emotional Rollercoaster course online across the Lichfield Diocese, to work with and support young people. In June we are offering short information sessions covering common mental health problems and symptoms, how to support someone who is struggling and where to look for professional support. We will also look at wellbeing tools and practices that we can all use to improve our mental health during these difficult times.

In addition, I hope to offer some on-line retreat space where we can look at some of the spiritual practices and everyday activities that can help us to enhance our spiritual and mental health and well-being. Please keep an eye on the website and facebook pages, to keep up to date with the latest information about what is going on."
