NHS Track and Trace

How NHS Test and Trace will contact you

You'll be contacted by email, text or phone.

Text messages will come from the NHS. Calls will come from 0300 0135000.

Children under 18 will be contacted by phone wherever possible and asked for their parent or guardian's permission to continue the call.

You'll be asked to sign in to the NHS Test and Trace contact tracing website at

If you cannot use the contact tracing website, they will call you.


The NHS Test and Trace service will not:

  • ask for bank details or payments
  • ask for details of any other accounts, such as social media
  • ask you to set up a password or PIN number over the phone
  • ask you to call a premium rate number, such as those starting 09 or 087

Get coronavirus support as a clinically extremely vulnerable person

If you have a medical condition which makes you extremely vulnerable to coronavirus (COVID-19), register and tell us whether or not you need support.

You may have received a letter from the NHS telling you that you’re clinically extremely vulnerable, or been contacted by your GP or hospital clinician. If this has not happened by Monday 30 March, contact your GP or clinician after you register with this service.

It may take time for any support offered through this service to arrive. Wherever possible you should continue to rely on friends, family and wider support to help you meet your needs.

You can register yourself, or on behalf of someone else.

Self-referrals for NHS Volunteer Help

Offices are closed for drop in surgeries. You can get advice from these sources.

Help in Bilston

Bilston People’s Centre (in conjuction with Excel Church) is providing to people living in the Bilston area during the COVID-19 situation.

Trisha Gallardo, Centre Manager, explains the support they can offer:

- Food parcels are available and can be delivered to the most vulnerable individuals and families living in the Bilston area. We are accepting referrals from local agencies so we can ensure parcels get to those who need them most and keep the service sustainable. Please share this information with your network.

- We are offering a shopping and delivery service to individuals who live in the Bilston area who are required to self-isolate. We can arrange pick-up of payment, shopping list and delivery of goods whilst maintaining safe social distancing measures. Individuals in this situation and who are living in the Bilston area can self-refer and we accept referrals from local agencies.

- Regular friendly phone calls to those who are required to self-isolate.

Our operational days in terms of delivery of services are Mondays and Thursdays. We may expand the number of operational days depending on capacity.

Centrepoint Christian Church Support Centre will continue to operate online during this Emergency Period.

Many will be in need of professional help with welfare benefits, Universal Credit applications, housing, residential permission to stay applications etc during this Emergency Period.

As many of you know Centrepoint Christian Church is part of the Sandwell Advice Providers Network and, like CAB and others, provide professional services covered by indemnity insurance and monitored by Sandwell Council Welfare Rights department.
