Places of Welcome is a growing network of local community groups providing their neighbourhoods with places where all people feel safe to belong, connect and contribute

Start your own Place of Welcome

TCT is proud to work with Together Network and Near Neighbours colleagues across the country to help groups become Places of Welcome and to promote the network.

We help to set up new venues in:

  • Dudley
  • Walsall
  • Wolverhampton
  • Staffordshire
  • The Potteries
  • North Shropshire.

We aim to create a movement of welcome and hospitality for all in these areas.

"I feel like a celebrity when I come in here, everyone is so pleased to see me!"

“This is such a significant time for our society. We live in a time where people can easily feel threatened, isolated and alone. But Places of Welcome mean that people feel connected and welcome. It is a real cause for the common good and very close to our heart as a Church as we seek to be people of hope.”

Rt Revd Dr Michael Ipgrave, Bishop of Lichfield
